About me

I am Karri Karthik. I have a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. I am a postdoctoral research associate at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. My research focuses on leveraging advanced computational techniques to enhance optical coherence tomography (OCT) images and enhance the efficiency of retinal disease diagnostic algorithms, with a particular emphasis on deep learning and computer vision applications. I am committed to using AI to improve the entire healthcare ecosystem, starting from disease characterisation, drug discovery and delivery, improved diagnostic systems, treatment optimisation, and patient monitoring.
